Logo design I created for a product website while employed with W3i. The purpose of freeze.com was to house all of the companies windows products and make them available for download in a single location. Hub-sites were then created for specific categories of products, each with their own web-design and logo.

The site was originally owned as my-freeze, and offered product downloads as well as news feeds and custom search for clients who installed it’s toolbar. In the final logo, the client wanted the word ‘free’ to be highly distinguishable. from snowflake, frozen mountains, and thermometer’s…the logo design ended up being a mash-up of all the revisions initially shown to the client. The final design was to be something that illustrated the different categories/levels of products the company had to offer, while still showing a customer orientated business-model.

My original favorite was ’4-b’ (as shown in the sample below, and after feedback from the client, my follow up favorite was ’1-b’

A 1-color brand design for D.C. based house-dj, Kimozaki.

I designed a simple logo for house-dj, ‘Kimozaki’, out of Washington D.C.

I was tasked with designing a 1-color logo that was simple, but reflected a certain ‘techy’ edge that most electronic dj’s aspire to. The catch was that although Kimozaki wanted something ‘techy’ he also wanted something tribal, soulful, and a bit earthy; Something new, with no hard edges, that showcased the amount of dimension he brought to his music.

EP Album cover artwork made for washing based house dj, Kimozaki. The focus was to design something with a tribal/eclectic style. The music featured by the artist had tribal, latin, house, and dub characteristics. Kimozaki presented the idea of an ‘eclipse’ to me and wanted a design with that in mind.

Playground (iClass’s sister dance event) is very sophisticated, very stylish, iClass needs to be the younger brother, the freak, kind of immature but at the same time cool and flashy.

Local promoter Sound In Motion needed a flyer design to promote the quickly approaching Filo & Peri performance at Envy. Taking the musical style of the performers in mind, I designed a flyer that expressed the kind of energy and power that is heard in their style of music. This design was printed on a 2-sided flyer opposite the design for their Ferry Corsten performance, and appeared on projection screens at all of Sound In Motions events for that summer.
